LOCKPORT – Niagara Falls man being held in the Niagara County Jail was charged with aggravated harassment of an employee by an inmate after he allegedly threatened to kill a corrections officer and then spit at him Tuesday.

Brian J. Green, 37, of Ferry Avenue, was arraigned on the additional charges and then taken back to the jail facing an additional bail of $2,000.

A corrections officer said prior to the incident Green was upset about a court appearance and had been irate and yelling as he was being processed for entry into the jail at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Green allegedly told the officer, if he had a knife he would kill him, and shortly after that the inmate stepped forward and spit on the officer.
