More than 350 bags of heroin, as well as crack cocaine, were seized from the Buffalo apartment of a man suspected of trafficking drugs in the city and suburbs – including Clarence, according to the Erie County Sheriff’ Office.
The Wednesday afternoon search of an upper apartment at 1035 West Ave. was carried out by members of sheriff’s and Buffalo Police Department’s Narcotics Units. The street value of the drugs was estimated at approximately $4,000, deputies reported.
Approximately $3,600 in cash also was seized, deputies said.
Efrain Gonzalez, 32, was charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was sent to the county Holding Center, pending arraignment in Buffalo City Court.
