NIAGARA FALLS – A Niagara Falls man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery Friday in the city.

Kevin M. King, 22, of Lockport Street has been charged with first- and second-degree robbery. He was arraigned Monday in Niagara Falls City Court and released after posting $1,500 bail. He is due back in court Friday.

King and an unnamed accomplice, were both reported as armed when the victim said they approached him in an alley at 4 p.m. in the 500 block of 19th Street. The victim said King confronted him for turning in his cousin to police and then demanded he hand over his cash. The victim said he gave them $500 and they fled.
