LOCKPORT – Two businesses in the 4000 block of Lake Avenue reported damages in separate incidents over the holiday weekend according to Niagara County sheriff’s deputies.

Niagara Frontier Equipment and Sales at 4060 Lake Avenue said that sometime between 3 p.m. Sunday and 6 p.m. Monday someone stole a $14,000 green utility vehicle, a 2013 Kioti Mechron, from the dealership while it was closed for the holiday weekend. A wooden parking barrier was found pushed down a hill and deputies found a gray Nike Air sneaker, size 9 1/2, which was taken for evidence.

Also between 9 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday at the Oak Run Golf Course at 4185 Lake Avenue the ignitions were damaged on 12 golf carts and three golf greens were damaged. One cart was found with front end damage from the suspects driving them, according to sheriff reports. Total damages at Oak Run was listed at $2,300.
