NIAGARA FALLS – A 36-year-old man from Taiwan told police he was attacked by two men as he was walking in the 400 block of Fourth Street at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

He said he was holding a case of water and walking down the street with a female when two men approached and started punching and then kicking him, which caused him to drop the case of water. He said one of the men said, “Go get the girl” but she was able to run south on Fourth Street to a 7-Eleven. The victim also ran to the store and called police. Both suspects fled and nothing was reported stolen.

The female was not harmed and the man declined medical attention, according to police. The couple was returned to the Seneca Niagara Hotel where they had been staying.
