NIAGARA FALLS – More than $4,000 worth of antiques and collectibles were stolen from a house in the 8700 block of Pershing Avenue between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 5 p.m. Wednesday, said police.
The 70-year-old owner told police he noticed some things had been moved and found that a Tiffany bowl and plate, a pocket watch and parts, costume jewelry, and Victorian candle holders with a dragon valued at over $2,500, were stolen; and an antique Chinese trunk was damaged. He said other items were missing from boxes, but he couldn’t remember what was taken. Total loss was estimated $4,050.
