Paul F. Kulniszewski, who worked for a number of local law enforcement agencies, died Tuesday in his Ransomville home. He was 70.
Born in Mount Pleasant, Pa., Mr. Kulniszewski was a 1961 graduate of Lancaster High School and graduated from Canisius College in 1986. He also was a graduate of the New York State Police Academy and Erie County Police Academy. Mr. Kulniszewski worked for State Park Police, Erie County Department of Corrections and retired from the Niagara Frontier Transit Authority in 2004.
He spent his retirement years tending to his gardens and feeding wildlife.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, the former Denise Schober; three sons, Paul, David and Joseph; a daughter, Catherine Wedge; a brother, Daniel; three sisters, Joan Siudzinski, Dolly Rydlewski and Patricia Dabb; and 13 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. March 27 in St. Bernard Catholic Church, 218 Hinman St., Youngstown.
