Orchard Park School Board members approve financial reports during every regular board meeting.
At a special work session meeting Thursday morning the board will learn exactly what each document is and the financial details that are included in the treasurer’s report, revenue budget detail, appropriation status report and warrant report.
Jeffrey Petrus, assistant superintendent for business also will talk to the board about the various reserves and fund balance, “so board members understand that going into the budget season,” Board President Natalie A. Schaffer said.
Petrus also will give an overview of BOCES services that the district receives, and that might be available to district students, she said.
The meeting will take place at 8:15 a.m. Thursday in the administrative building, 2240 Southwestern Blvd., West Seneca.
