CIRCLE GAMES – Proof that hula hoops are fashionable again will be seen at the first-ever Hoopathon of Buffalo from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday in the Social Hall of the Student Union at SUNY Buffalo State, 1300 Elmwood Ave.

In addition to showing that fitness activity can be fun, the Hoopathon will feature hoop games, challenges, including an endurance contest, and prizes. There also will be performances by the Buffalo Contact Improvisational Troupe, Dynamic Drum Arts of WNY, the MROS Jazz Ensemble and the area’s leading hula hoop dancers.

EXTRA HELPING – North Tonawanda Meals on Wheels announces that it is now serving the four-legged companions of its homebound clients in North Tonawanda and the City of Tonawanda.
