Finding Beauty

I enjoy looking at beautiful things.

Clouds against the blue,

Kites flying high on thin white strings.

Horses in the meadow,

Birds that sing.

Trees changing color,

After spring.

It’s not unique to enjoy these things.

The sound of nature on violin strings.

The words of poets and their mystic flings.

Music playing quiet melodies,

Sounding like flapping wings.

Where beauty can still be found ...

Among life’s many things.
