SPOOKY DOINGS – A pair of celebrity television ghost hunters pay a pre-Halloween visit to one of the area’s more notable haunts this weekend – the Iron Island Museum, 998 Lovejoy St., which previously served as a church and a funeral home.
Brian Cano from the Syfy Channel’s “Haunted Collector” and Chris Mancuso from Staten Island Community Television’s “Scared!” will give a presentation and lead a hunt from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. today and Saturday. HERE’S THE BEEF – A wide variety of meats will be offered at an adults-only Sweetest Day Meat Raffle on Saturday evening in the Parish Center at Queen of Angels Parish, Electric Avenue and Warsaw Street, Lackawanna.
