Roger R. Kremblas, a vice president at Key Bank, died Wednesday in Buffalo General Medical Center. He was 63.
Mr. Kremblas had worked for Key Bank for 42 years, where he was senior business banking relationship manager.
A graduate of Bishop Timon High School, he was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame at Bishop Timon-St. Jude High School.
He played on the basketball team at the University at Buffalo, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business management.
He was named the most valuable player as a junior, and was chosen as team captain as a senior.
Mr. Kremblas was past president of the Hamburg Development Corp., where he served as a board member for six years, and was on the local loan committee. He also was a longtime associate member of the Buffalo Niagara Manufacturing Alliance.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret; a son, Jason; two daughters, Teri Jurek and Tammy Carroll; three brothers, Edward, Gerald and Bradley; and two sisters, Judy Breeden and Linda Galley.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Wesleyan Church of Hamburg.
