Andrew C. Graziano, of Cheektowaga, longtime operator of a South Buffalo barbershop, died Tuesday in Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Buffalo, after a lengthy illness. He was 80.
Born in Buffalo, Mr. Graziano served with the Army in Germany during the 1950s. He ran Try It Barber Shop on Abbott Road from 1960 until his retirement from barbering in 1986.
Mr. Graziano was a parishioner of Resurrection Catholic Church in Cheektowaga, where he was a member of its Holy Name Society. He also was a member of the former GEMS – Gentlemen’s Entertainment Mutual Society – a social club, and of Father Justin Council 5670, Knights of Columbus.
His interests included golf and bowling.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, the former Maria LaNasa; two daughters, Karen Lampka and Diane Rusiniak; and two sons, Stephen and Sam.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Resurrection Church, Union Road and Como Park Boulevard, Cheektowaga.
