LOCKPORT – A North Tonawanda 17-year-old who pleaded guilty to a pair of felonies was sentenced to one to three years in state prison Wednesday by Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas.

Dominic J. LaRotonda of Fairmont Avenue had admitted to attempted third-degree burglary for stealing two PlayStations from a garage on Porter Avenue in North Tonawanda July 25, 2012. He also had pleaded guilty to attempted third-degree robbery for taking part in the theft of property from a woman in North Tonawanda Aug. 15, while he was out on bail on the first case.

Farkas granted LaRotonda youthful offender status on the burglary case but not on the robbery.
