LOCKPORT – A Niagara County Court jury will resume deliberations Monday after failing to reach a verdict Friday night in the case of a North Tonawanda man accused of the long-term sexual abuse of a young girl.

Bradley K. McNamara, 39, of Division Street, is charged with second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, second-degree criminal sexual act, attempted second-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child.

The girl, now 14, testified that she was molested frequently from the spring of 2011 through January of this year.

The jury sent a note after less than three hours, stating they were deadlocked, but Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas told them to keep working, and no further communication came from the eight women and four men until Farkas called a temporary halt just before 10 p.m., after seven and a half hours of deliberations following a five-day trial.

Assistant District Attorney Robert A. Zucco is the prosecutor and Robert Berkun is the defense attorney.
