Three men forced their way into a home on Parker Boulevard in North Buffalo Monday night, threatened a mother and her four children with a knife and then ransacked the residence, Buffalo police said.

Police reported the crime occurred between 9 and 9:30 p.m. after the suspects forcibly entered the home and forced the occupants into a bedroom.

Stolen during the home invasion were: laptop, desktop computer, Remington shotgun, phone and a kitchen butcher knife, which police said was used to threaten the woman and her children ages 13, 11, 6 and 3.

The suspects fled the scene in a white SUV, police said.
