A free rabies vaccination clinic will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Jan. 29 in the North Buffalo Community Center, 203 Sanders Road.

The clinic – conducted by the Erie County Health Department in association with the Niagara Frontier Veterinary Society, the Medaille College veterinary technology department, and the SPCA – will provide free rabies vaccinations for dogs, cats and ferrets.

In 2013, more than 4,460 animals were vaccinated countywide in similar clinics, county officials reported.

Residents are requested to bring their pets to the clinic either on a leash or in a carrier and, if possible, to bring along the animal’s vaccination record.
