NIAGARA FALLS – The reservation period has opened for Niagara County’s 13th annual Technology and Homeland Security Forum, set for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 24 in the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel.
Speakers from the FBI will discuss “Cyber Threat Awareness,” one of many classes and seminars to be offered throughout the day. Also, at least 60 industry vendors will offer hardware, software, training and other services.
Sheriff James R. Voutour said, “The Technology and Homeland Security Forum has always stressed a number of security issues, and we welcome the opportunity to demonstrate some of our leading-edge systems we utilize to keep the public safe – and no systems are more important than the flesh-and-blood ones.”
The event is free, but advance registration is required at www.niagaracounty.com/Forum.aspx.
