TOWN OF NIAGARA – Television news reporter Rita Cosby will be featured at a Sept. 28 buffet luncheon and book-signing sponsored by the Niagara Military Affairs Council.
Tickets will be sold only until Saturday for the event in the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station’s Heritage Center. They cost $20 and are available through the council’s website at www.nimac.org.
Cosby will talk about her recent book, “Quiet Hero,” which describes her father’s exploits in World War II as a Polish resistance fighter and prisoner of war.
A ceremony honoring World War II veterans will be part of the event, set from noon to 3 p.m.
