LOCKPORT – It’s back to state prison for Tracy T. Rhym, the Buffalo man who pleaded guilty to stuffing more than $1,000 worth of designer jeans into a garbage bag at Saks Off 5th in the Fashion Outlets mall in the Town of Niagara last year.

Wednesday, Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas sentenced Rhym, 50, of LaSalle Avenue, to 1 1/2 to three years behind bars for fourth-degree grand larceny in connection with the June 29, 2013, crime.

It’s the fourth time Rhym has gone to state prison. He was on parole for a 2010 Erie County grand larceny conviction at the time of the Saks theft, and he has also served time for a 2003 robbery conviction and a 1989 grand larceny and forgery case.
