NIAGARA FALLS – City residents will have the month of November to dispose of leaves, either by placing them at the curb for city crews to pick up or bagging them for disposal in their weekly garbage pickup, the city announced Friday.

Bulk pickup for the rest of the year will be limited to one item on garbage day. This includes brush and branches, which must be cut into 4-foot lengths and bundled.

Residents may pick up a free dump permit at the Department of Public Works, 1785 New Road, to drop off bulk items at Modern Disposal. For more information, call 286-4940.

City officials remind residents that electronics must be recycled and will not be collected as part of regular garbage pickup.
