LOCKPORT – Bradley M. Keel, 24, of Parkview Drive, Grand Island, pleaded guilty Friday in Niagara County Court to a marijuana charge stemming from a pot-growing operation in the Town of Niagara.
The Niagara County Drug Task Force raided a home on Divide Road July 3 and seized 120 pot plants. Keel and a friend, Brandon S. Smith, 21, were arrested. Keel admitted Friday that he possessed 2.49 pounds of marijuana, and agreed to forfeit $251 he had on him when he was arrested.
County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas is to sentence Keel on May 15. Smith was charged with a misdemeanor in town court.
