NIAGARA FALLS – The Wound Center of Niagara will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday at 620 10th St., Suite 700 – directly across the street from Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
The center was developed by Memorial and RestorixHealth, creators of a comprehensive wound care and management program.
Wound centers specialize in treating chronic or problem wounds, typically those that fail to respond to conventional treatment within 30 days.
Such wounds are often associated with conditions such as diabetes, poor circulation and certain types of infections.
