LOCKPORT – A man who burglarized three Niagara Falls homes in one day pleaded guilty Friday and was ordered to repay the victims a total of $5,107 after he completes his sentence.

Anthony M. Loverdi, 22, of South Avenue in the Falls, admitted to third-degree burglary and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property to wrap up the March 16, 2012, crime spree that involved break-ins on Wyoming and LaSalle avenues and 75th Street.

County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas assigned Loverdi, an admitted cocaine and marijuana addict, to the judicial diversion program of court-supervised drug treatment. He faces seven years in prison if he fails in the program, but could have his charges reduced or dismissed if he succeeds.
