LOCKPORT – An indictment was unsealed Thursday against a Niagara Falls man who is charged with entering a room in the Seneca Niagara Casino’s hotel to steal cash and credit cards while a guest was sleeping.

Luke L. Lucas Jr., 30, of Ontario Avenue, pleaded not guilty in Niagara County Court to two counts of second-degree burglary, four counts of fourth-degree grand larceny and single counts of petit larceny, attempted second-degree identity theft and third-degree identity theft.

Assistant District Attorney Laura T. Bittner said Lucas allegedly stole four credit cards and later used one of them and tried to use another. A hotel surveillance camera allegedly recorded him entering the room.
