LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man pleaded guilty Monday to a reduced charge in connection with the June 9 theft of a lawn mower from a residential garage on Buffalo Avenue, near his home.

William J. Dietz II, 32, of Buffalo Avenue, admitted to second-degree criminal trespass.

Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III scheduled sentencing for June 12 and told Dietz he could go to the County Jail for a year.
