NIAGARA FALLS – Niagara Falls police on Friday night were using surveillance camera recordings provided by a nearby business to try to track down two men involved in a shooting incident at about 3:40 p.m. Friday at Garden and Highland avenues.

According to witnesses, the wounded victim, who was wearing an orange shirt and a white hat, fled the scene in a silver SUV. The gunman, who got out of his own SUV at the intersection to shoot at the victim, also drove off, police said.

The silver SUV that drove off with the shooting victim was recovered by police in the Monteagle Ridge Estates and was towed to police headquarters where it is being investigated.
