NIAGARA FALLS – The medical group of the 107th Airlift Wing, stationed at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, has a new commanding officer.

Lt. Col. Emily Desrosier has assumed command of the 107th Medical Group, succeeding Col. Michael Torres.

Desrosier, who joined the Air National Guard in 1994, comes to Niagara Falls from the 106th Rescue Wing, based in Westhampton Beach on Long Island.

She served the past five years as the wing’s medical administrative officer and before that was the wing executive officer from 2006 to 2008.

The 107th Airlift Wing flies C-130 cargo aircraft in partnership with the 914th Airlift Wing of the Air Force Reserve.
