WHEATFIELD – The Niagara County Industrial Development Agency has announced public hearing dates on tax breaks for two companies that applied at the IDA’s Oct. 16 meeting.
Brent Industries of Royalton, the parent company of KJ Motorsports and Outdoor Furnace Supply, is seeking a 15-year payment-in-lieu-of-taxes, or PILOT, agreement on a $600,000 plant expansion on Mountain Road. The hearing is set for 3:30 p.m. todayin Royalton Town Hall, 5316 Royalton Center Road.
Sunrise Lodging, which plans a $6.68 million Comfort Suites hotel on Niagara Falls Boulevard in Niagara Falls, is seeking a 10-year PILOT. Its hearing is to be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Niagara Falls City Hall, 745 Main St.
The IDA board is scheduled to vote on the deals Nov. 13.
