NIAGARA FALLS - Plans for an outdoor artisan and farmers’ market got its second and final needed approval from the city on Wednesday night.

The proposal for the Park Place Market project, to be located at Main Street and Park Place, received a certificate of appropriateness from the city’s Historic Preservation Commission – a step necessary because the parcel is located in the Park Place Historic District.

The market is scheduled to run from May through October and be open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and possibly a weekend day.

The project received Planning Board approval last week.
