Seventeen more restaurants and a giant lawn fete-style beer tent have been added to the attractions of The Taste of Buffalo July 12 and 13 on Delaware Avenue and in Niagara Square in downtown Buffalo, organizers announced Thursday.
New vendors at the nation’s largest two-day food festival will include Osteria 166, Sun Restaurant and Paula’s Donuts. In all, 60 restaurants will offer more than 220 sample-size culinary treats for $1 to $4. Serving hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. July 12 and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 13.
The new Beer Tent on Niagara East, set up in Niagara Square, will feature brews from Labatts and Flying Bison plus live music from the area’s leading party bands. While vendors will close at 9 p.m. July 12, the beer tent will stay open until 11. Ten shade tents also will be scattered along the festival route.
