NIAGARA FALLS – Military youngsters will learn about other nations and their customs next week at a day camp operated by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station.

Using STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) methods, the week-long “Around the World Day Camp” will explore a different country or region each day, learning about geography, climate, travel, currency, music, food, customs, housing, education and clothing.

The camp will make use of the New York State Operation Kids Mobile Technology Lab equipment, including computers, printers, cameras, GPS units and iPads. Fee for the camp is $25. Military families can register by calling Erin Fulton at (315) 788-8450.
