Buffalo Otolaryngology Group, a small 45-year-old specialty practice, has joined the Buffalo Medical Group.
Its four doctors, Steven H. Buck, Stephen R. Sobie, Keun Y. Lee and Gustavo Diaz-Reyes, will merge with the Buffalo Medical Group’s existing ear, nose and throat medical staff, which includes Drs. Peter A. Campione, Gerald R. Jeyapalan and Robert W. Williams.
Buffalo Otolaryngology Group’s Williamsville office at 1020 Youngs Road will remain open and become a Buffalo Medical Group satellite office.
The merger will bring Buffalo Medical Group’s cadre of physicians to 113.
“With the increasing complexity of regulation and mandates, we found that the administrative burden was onerous on our small practice,” Buck said. “Buffalo Medical Group was a natural progression for us because our nonclinical responsibilities will be assumed by BMG, and our providers will be freed to concentrate on treating our patients.”
