LOCKPORT – A Wilson woman, one of two women who were reportedly highly intoxicated on South Transit Street early Sunday, was arrested after dropping a bag of alleged heroin, Lockport police said.
Patricia M. Davis, 25, of West Lake Road, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance shortly after 3 a.m.
Police said one of the two women they saw fell down and her companion was unable to get her back onto her feet. Davis allegedly admitted having some hypodermic needles in her purse, and as she talked to officers, a clear plastic bag fell to the ground. Its contents field-tested positive for heroin, police said.
The other woman, a Pendleton resident, was not charged. Police said both women said they were staying at the Comfort Inn on South Transit Street.
