LOCKPORT – A Lockport man admitted Wednesday in Niagara County Court that he drove a 13-year-old boy from Buffalo to Lockport on July 14 or 15 and had sexual contact with him.
Dwight A. Lester, 40, of Lincoln Place, pleaded guilty to first-degree unlawful imprisonment, a felony, and third-degree criminal sexual act, a misdemeanor.
County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas promised him a sentence of no more than six months in jail in addition to a term of probation, and scheduled sentencing for April 18. The maximum sentence for the charges would have been four years in prison. Lester will have to register as a sex offender.
