LOCKPORT – A Lockport teenager who took part in the March 29 robbery of a man whose Pine Street apartment was invaded was sentenced to a year in the Niagara County Jail Tuesday, although County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas granted him youthful offender status.

The Elmwood Avenue 18-year-old had pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary. He paid $125 restitution in the courtroom Tuesday.

Two other defendants, Demitrius R. Cole, 19, of Gooding Street, and Alexis W. Cruz, 17, of Genesee Street, also pleaded guilty in the case. They are awaiting sentencing.
