LOCKPORT – A Lockport teenager was promised youthful offender status Wednesday as he pleaded guilty to his role in the mugging of a Niagara Falls man in downtown Lockport April 2.

The Webb Street 17-year-old will have to pay $125 in restitution for the theft of an iPod Touch, Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas ordered. The incident occurred outside a restaurant on Main Street in Lockport.

Co-defendant Demitrius R. Cole, 19, of Gooding Street, Lockport, is pondering a plea offer in that case and two others, a beating and a burglary.
