LOCKPORT – City offices will be closed Monday, as city union contracts still contain a holiday on the second Monday of February to mark Abraham Lincoln’s birthday. However, City Court will be in session as usual.
On Wednesday, the situation will be the exact opposite. City Court, in common with all city, county and State Supreme courts, will be closed in honor of Lincoln, but City of Lockport offices will be open.
Both the city offices and the courts will be closed on Presidents Day, Feb. 17.
None of these closures will affect the city garbage pickup schedule, which will proceed as normal.
