LOCKPORT – More than 30 wineries and breweries, ranging from national brands to locals, will offer their products for sampling Saturday night at the Kenan Center’s third annual Wine and Beer Tasting Fest.
The beverages will flow from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Kenan Arena, 195 Beattie Ave. Spokeswoman Elaine Harrigan said $25 advance tickets are available Friday the arena or in the Kenan Center business office, 433 Locust St.
On Saturday, advance tickets will be available at the arena from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets sold at the door Saturday night will cost $35. Designated drivers will be charged $10 at the door and will be served free nonalcoholic beverages.
A purchase sticker will entitle attendees to buy wine by the bottle and store it in a wine check area.
Seven local farms will offer artisanal foods for sale, and three Lockport restaurants will be offering larger portions. A $5 food voucher is included with every ticket.
Live music by the Latin jazz band Varuna, a basket raffle and a 50-50 split also are part of the agenda.
