LOCKPORT – A Robinson Road woman was found guilty Friday of robbing the Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union of $4,650 April 10.

A Niagara County Court jury deliberated about an hour before convicting Dale L. Swain, 56, of third-degree robbery and third-degree grand larceny.

Swain faces up to seven years in prison when sentenced by Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas on Feb. 20. She remains free on bail.

Swain handed three notes to a teller at the South Transit Road credit union, demanding money.

Swain was a regular customer there and was known by name to the tellers.

This is her second bank robbery conviction. She served two years in prison for a 2007 Erie County holdup.
