LEWISTON – The thriller and hit film of 1953 “Niagara” starring Marilyn Monroe as the femme fatale intent on killing her husband, brought the star to the Niagara Falls for two weeks in 1952 shooting in and around the area.

Local resident and movie expert George Bailey, will discuss Monroe’s time in the area, and after a short presentation the movie, starring Monroe, Joseph Cotten and Jean Peters, will be shown at 6:30 p.m. today in the Red Brick School, 145 N. Fourth Street. Admission is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be available.
