LOCKPORT – The former office manager at a Youngstown auto repair business was arraigned in Niagara County Court Thursday on charges that she stole at least $10,000 from the business last year.

Kari A. Butski, 36, of 74th Street, Niagara Falls, pleaded not guilty to three counts of third-degree grand larceny and single counts of fourth-degree grand larceny and first-degree identity theft.

Assistant District Attorney John P. Granchelli said the total amount allegedly stolen from Heritage Automotive between June and December 2012 is still being tallied. County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III allowed Butski, who has no prior criminal record, to go free pending further proceedings.
