Paladino’s remark does not inspire confidence

If anyone is unclear as to what is a major stumbling block that’s in the way of fixing the Buffalo school system, all one has to do is read Carl Paladino’s quote in the July 8 News. He was quoted as saying when describing the current board members: “None of us on the board, we’re good well-intentioned people, but we don’t know diddly about making schools better.” The obvious question is then: Why are these people on the Board of Education?
