Explore ways to end illegal immigration

I’m 87 years old. This is the way my generation would have solved the problem of immigrant children: Congress and the president have to cooperate (as if they were statesmen, not politicians) and pass a law so that abandoned children can be legally adopted by American families if their parents haven’t claimed them within one month of their arrival in the United States. Once adopted, the natural parents can never get them back. Those claimed by their real parents must be sent back to their native country. This law has to be publicized in all of the countries that are sending children to the United States.

I am sick of our present do-nothing United States. We have to get our clout back so that we can really do good.
