Perfect, festival-ready lakeside LaSalle Park, at the foot of Porter Avenue, will be the place to be for soul food and music from 4 to 10 p.m. June 28. Buffalo is midpoint on the 21-city Kinfolks Soul Food Festival U.S. tour this summer.
The lineup of live music begins at 5 p.m. sharp. Hitting the stage will be R&B superstars Jeffrey Osborne, Stephanie Mills, Chante Moore, Lyfe Jennings and Mint Condition. The soul food portion of the festival features several local vendors.
Tickets range from $32 to $65 for general admission, preferred seating, and the V.I.P. option that includes table seating.
