LOCKPORT – State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. placed a Kenmore man on five years’ probation Wednesday for a North Tonawanda apartment burglary.

William P. Mellenthine, 28, of Mayville Avenue, must pay $650 in restitution to the resident of the Frontier Avenue apartment that was burglarized Jan. 13.

Also Wednesday, Kloch gave Martin H. Reyes Jr., 23, of Hess Road, Appleton, a one-year conditional discharge for petit larceny.

Reyes paid $120 in restitution to the Medicine Shoppe pharmacy on South Main Street in Newfane, where he stole the money Nov. 11 after placing a package on the counter, claiming it contained a bomb detonator.
