JAMESTOWN – James C. Johnson, president and chief executive officer of the Robert H. Jackson Center of Jamestown, will be the keynote speaker for the WCA Hospital Doctor’s Day Luncheon at noon Wednesday in the WCA auditorium.
The luncheon, held in conjunction with National Doctor’s Day on March 30, will salute the hospital’s 136 staff physicians.
Johnson, who joined the Jackson Center in the summer of 2012, will speak about his experiences as chief of prosecutions for the Special Court of Sierra Leone, where he oversaw the war crimes trial of former Liberian President Charles Taylor. Previously, he served for 20 years as a judge advocate in the U.S. Army.
Prior to the talk, Dr. Patrick Collins, president of the WCA Hospital medical staff, will present the 2014 Physician of the Year Award.
