JAMESTOWN – A 25-year-old man who works at a fast food restaurant on E. 2nd Street could face charges for allegedly telling Jamestown Police he was robbed at gunpoint by a drive-through customer early Wednesday, police officials said. Though the man called police about 2:45 a.m. and claimed he had just been robbed at the drive-through in the 1400 block of 11 E.2nd Street, Jamestown police investigators determined that his claim was false.

Police said a continuing investigation could lead to him being criminally charged for a false report.
