JAMESTOWN — State police have charged a 14-year-old boy with menacing for allegedly pointing a loaded shotgun at a woman in Ashville.
The boy and another boy were walking through the woods behind a residence on Blockville-Watts Flats Road when a woman tried to get their attention by yelling to them.
Once the boy made it to a clearing he loaded a shotgun and then aimed the loaded shotgun directly at the woman, police said. The boys were found at the 14-year-old’s residence a short time later. He was charged with second-degree menacing and he will be referred to Chautauqua County Probation. The firearm was seized.
