Linda Hill-MacDonald, who was head coach of women’s basketball at the University at Buffalo for seven seasons, was elevated to head coach at Fredonia State.

Hill-MacDonald was Fredonia’s interim head coach last season, guiding the Blue Devils to a 15 -10 record, 10-8 in the SUNYAC. She had a 75-137 record at UB from 2005 to 2012.

Also, Fredonia Athletic Director Greg Prechtl also announced that Amy Simon had been promoted to head coach of women’s lacrosse. Simon, a Fredonia graduate and former player, was a two-time All-Western New York player for Amherst High.
